Everything you need to trade with confidence

Three integrated tools covering the full cycle — from idea generation to execution and review.

Professional Charting

Clean, fast candlestick charts for 20,000+ stocks, ETFs, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies from global markets. Trendlines, Fibonacci retracements, horizontal levels, channels and annotations — all saved automatically to your account and restored on every visit.

Web & Desktop

Technical Scanner + gsEasyScript

A high-performance stock screener powered by gsEasyScript — our custom scripting language purpose-built for technical analysis. Write multi-condition filters combining indicators like MACD, Bollinger Bands, RSI, ATR, Stochastic and Fibonacci levels. An AI assistant can generate and optimise your scripts instantly, and a live intellisense system guides you as you type.

Pro Feature

Trading System Engine (C#)

Build, backtest and optimise complete algorithmic trading systems using a professional C# engine. Define precise entry and exit rules, manage position sizing, and analyse performance metrics across years of historical data — designed for serious strategy developers who need more than a simple backtester.

Desktop App

Trading Signals

Receive automatic alerts generated by your scanner scripts. Signals are logged with full context — ticker, timeframe, strategy and timestamp — and can be reviewed directly on the chart to validate setups before acting.

All Plans

Market Insights & Movers

A daily overview of market breadth, top gainers and losers, sector rotation and volume anomalies. Stay oriented with the broader market context before diving into individual charts.

All Plans

Portfolio Manager

Import your trades from supported brokers via CSV, automatically match buy and sell legs using FIFO logic, and track realised P&L per position. Full correlation analysis between your holdings and major indices is available to spot concentration risk.

Our philosophy: less noise, more signal

Most trading platforms are cluttered with social feeds, conflicting opinions and features designed to keep you engaged rather than profitable. gStockly takes the opposite approach.

Every decision — from the chart UI to the API design — starts with one question: does this help the trader think more clearly? If the answer is no, it doesn't ship.

We don't display ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't push notifications to pull you back. Your time on the platform should be intentional analysis, not passive consumption.

1
Speed above everything Charts load in milliseconds from a local database. No third-party API delays, no rate limits mid-session.
2
Your data stays yours Scripts, drawings, watchlists and portfolio data are stored privately. Never shared or monetised.
3
Tools that scale with you From a free daily chart to multi-threaded scanner runs and C# strategy engines — the same platform grows with your skill level.
4
Distraction-free by design No social feeds, no ads, no dark patterns. Just clean tools and your own analysis.

Who's behind gStockly

Not a VC-backed startup. A single developer who trades with the same tools he builds.

JJ Stevens

Developer & Active Trader

gStockly started as a personal project to replace the expensive, feature-bloated platforms available on the market. As an active trader in commodity futures, leveraged ETCs and European equities, the goal was simple: build exactly the tools needed — no more, no less.

What began as a private C# desktop application has grown into a full web platform. Every feature on gStockly exists because it was needed in real trading sessions, not because a product manager put it on a roadmap.

How we got here

A brief history of the platform's evolution.

1

The desktop app is born

gsStockAnalyzer starts as a lightweight C# tool for downloading and charting quotes from a local MariaDB database. The goal: zero dependency on slow third-party chart providers.

2

gsEasyScript — the custom screener language

A purpose-built scripting language is developed to allow multi-condition technical scans across thousands of instruments in seconds. Indicators like MACD, Bollinger, ATR, RSI and Stochastic are added progressively. AI-assisted script generation follows shortly after.

3

gStockly.com launches

The web platform goes live, bringing the charting and scanning capabilities to a browser — accessible from any device. A REST API is built from scratch on a LEMP stack with Redis caching, API key authentication and subscription-based rate limiting.

4

Trading signals, portfolio & correlations

Automatic signal logging, broker CSV import with FIFO P&L matching, and a correlation analysis engine computing Pearson/Beta/R² between holdings and major indices are added to the desktop client. Signals flow through to the web chart automatically.

5

Today & beyond

Continuous improvements across charting (persistent drawings, real-time quotes), the scanner engine and the web platform. The roadmap is driven by real trading needs — if it helps make better decisions, it gets built.
