FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to common questions about charts, drawings, alerts and data.

Alerts

Why did my alert not trigger?

Check that the alert is active, has not expired or reached its trigger limit, includes the current weekday and has the correct condition and target. Also review cooldown, rearm and “On candle close only” settings.

Why did a drawing alert open as a study alert?

That is intentional. A study alert remains connected to the saved drawing and can follow it when the drawing moves. Use a price alert only when you want a fixed level.

Why can’t I create an alert on a drawing?

The drawing must be saved first. Sign in, allow the drawing to save, then right-click it and choose Create study alert.

Charts and drawings

Why are my drawings missing?

Drawings are tied to the relevant ticker and timeframe context. Confirm that you opened the same instrument and that you are signed in to the account that created them.

Why do my chart header metrics look different?

Header metrics are personal account preferences. Open Analysis → Chart header to review the selected rows and metrics.

Why does the chart look different after loading a workspace?

A workspace intentionally restores chart type, timeframe, scale, grid, theme, indicators and header configuration. Drawings are not copied across tickers.

Workspaces

How do I update a workspace?

Load it, make your changes and save the current setup again using the same workspace name. This updates the saved configuration.

Why is an indicator not available after loading?

Wait for the selected timeframe to finish loading. If the issue persists, reload the page and confirm that the indicator is supported for the current chart view.

Data and timing

Why is my quote delayed?

Delay and availability depend on exchange, instrument and data provider. Check the market-data timing information shown on the chart.

Why does a value differ from another platform?

Differences can come from data source, session handling, adjustments, calculation method, timeframe or rounding. See Data & Limitations for more context.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, include the ticker, timeframe, feature and a screenshot when contacting support. That makes the issue much faster to reproduce.
